How to decorate a long and narrow living room?
Hello, my dears. Here I am to beautify this end of the year once again, I want to present you very interesting ideas about arranging long living rooms. You know what I mean, maybe you who are reading this article are looking for this type of article. I am sure that these few interesting tips and tricks will help you. Let’s go, welcome again if you haven’t subscribed to the blog yet, do it now, there is a small form at the bottom of this article, so fill it out.
Here are some interesting tips, which will be of great help!
Tip no. 1: My first piece of advice would be somehow the most effective, at the same time this is a piece of advice for everyone who has both long and normal dimensions of your living room. Basically, the most important thing is to make a great arrangement of furniture in the space. If it is a longer and narrower living room, my advice and I am sure that most will agree to buy a smaller corner sofa. One coffee table, hang the TV on the wall under the dressers and that’s enough.
T2: Be sure to paint the wall that is longer, ie without a window in white, so that the effect of an elongated room would be better, but therefore much more spacious. If you have a great supply of natural light, do not darken the room.
T3: If your space is crazy; In the living room there are dining rooms and a kitchen, it is important that you play with the colors a bit. Beige colors, and warm colors can have a very interesting effect to make your long living room look shorter and much more comfortable for gathering your family.
T4: If there is a front door in that room that “interferes” in some way. You can remove them, then make an arch / passage or even a sliding door. To have a door that closes on one side and more space on the other.
T5: This tip is more like a continuation of 4 tips at once, because the goal is if you have a partitioned space and it would be much nicer for you to tear down the partition wall (carefully, if it is not load-bearing) and you will get a very super open concept and your home it will be much nicer.
T6: If you still have no idea what to do with this number of tips, here is a great way that I did to one of my clients and definitely made a huge change in the home.
T6: Add or even better to the walls only one (which is intrusive, right from the entrance to the room) and hang art paintings or even a better version of the mirror of interesting shape. Buy a super ceiling light e.g. with dangling crystals. And you will surely get one of the best and most beautiful living rooms.
T7: If you have a high ceiling, and would you like it to get a nicer dimension. Great idea, to buy styrofoam or plasterboard decoration and place it on the ceiling above the ceiling lamp / chandelier or on the entire ceiling. Example in the picture below.
